The stiffness of the reed and the strength of vibration vary depending on the chosen tuning. Lower tunings produce softer vibrations and a more flexible reed, while higher tunings offer firmer response and clearer articulation.
For safe and convenient storage, we recommend resting the jaw harp in the supplied handcrafted wooden case when not in use to protect your instrument between sessions and while traveling.
Wipe your jaw harp dry after each use to remove moisture.
